This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is issued as a small business set-aside under the NAICS 541350 – Building Inspection Services. The purpose of this requirement is to provide annual, documented inspection services for 33 Steam and Hot Water Boilers located on the Defense Supply Center Richmond in accordance with the attached performance work statement (PWS). This procurement is for one base year and four option years. Quotes must include pricing for all years i/a/w the CLIN pricing schedule (see attached) to be considered responsive. Multiple awards will not be made. Vendors must be located within 50 miles of DSCR (8000 Jefferson Davis Highway, Richmond, VA 23297). Boiler inspector must have a valid and current certificate from the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. Award will be made on the basis of lowest priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) quote. In order to be considered technically acceptable, vendors must provide a copy of the proposed inspector’s current, valid certificate. Companies doing business with the Federal Government are required to use the System for Award Management (SAM). In order to be eligible to receive an award for this requirement, vendors must have an active SAM registration. All questions and requests for information regarding this Request for Quote (RFQ) must be received NO LATER THAN 5:00pm EST two working days prior to the quote due date.
