This solicitation is to procure a new 300GMS Gear Metrology System for the DLA Land and Maritime Product Test Center Division, Mechanical Lab, VTM. This new 300 GMS Gear Metrology System will be used in the Mechanical Lab and it will significantly enhance the Lab’s gear testing capabilities, the Lab will be able to greatly increase the throughput of the various gears needed for the Warfighter and the many different applications, and allow the Lab to measure gear features that the Lab previously was unable to measure. This System will allow the Lab to more adequately support Land and Maritime and the Warfighter with respect to gear testing. Brand name or equal will be considered as long as salient characteristics listed in the solicitation are met.
