DLA Product Test Center Division, Mechanical Lab is in need to procure an Optical Coordinate Measuring Machine (OCMM). This equipment will expand the overall testing capability of inspecting delicate parts, in both accuracy and efficiency. This system will decrease time required to inspect parts and remove any human error possible with current measuring. The Mechanical Lab currently has 3 CMM’s with the M3 software. The Mechanical Lab has created hundreds of automatic CNC programs with this software and in order for the new machine to execute these programs it will need to be the Starrett AV350 Brand name or equal with M3 inspection software.
