Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information Description: PURPOSE: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to conduct market research seeking to identify vendors who would be interested in offering a commercial software capability to identify, categorize, track, monitor and report on DLA’s compliance of the 8140 Cyberspace Workforce Management Program. DLA is looking for a commercial off the shelf (COTS) software or COTS software with minor modifications or non-development items to meet the Government’s requirement; preferably sold as Software as a Service (SaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS). This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal or promise to issue a solicitation in the future. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to this RFI. The Government will not entertain any requests to meet individually with a contractor and will not respond to any telephonic inquiries. Information provided in response to this RFI will be used to assess tradeoffs and alternatives available for determining how to proceed in the acquisition process. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responses should be limited to no more than ten pages with at least a font size of 12.
