It is ess... This requirement is for Vertiv Hardware for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Data Center Management branch (J64). DLA J64 is responsible for the computing facilities across the enterprise. It is essential that all computing equipment be installed in cabinets which can provide the necessary airflow and connectivity to limit any exposure to unscheduled downtime. The procurement of the Vertiv /Geist equipment infrastructure is essential to supporting the Government’s computer systems. DLA Data Centers are moving to a Vertiv 28"W x 48"D x 84"H cabinet with single perforated tool-less removable front doors, split perforated tool-less removable rear doors, the capability to be either right hand / left hand hinged doors, and locking handles. DLA requires the data cabinets to have a minimum of 75% perforation for front and back airflow. Side panels need to be removable but have ability to lock with an optional cable pass through via the side panels. Removable top panels for customized cable entry as needed. Two pair of full 19” rails with cage nuts for the rails that will accept tool-less cable management accessories, include vertical cable management trough, and include “U” markings on both the front and rear “19” rails. Depth markings need to be included on the frame for easy alignment. Button Mounts keyholes throughout to accommodate tool-less button mounting of rack PDU’s of various height. Integrated cable management to accept tool-less cable management accessories. The resultant award will be an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) containing an ordering period effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023 with a guaranteed minimum equal to the cost of first order. Individual Delivery Orders will define specific equipment, delivery details, and other CONUS sites. This procurement will provide DLA the ability to continue improvement of the environment as computing equipment is refreshed within the data centers.
