DLA is required to provide specific electronic information in cases involving litigation, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, Congressional Inquiries, and other similar situations. DLA desires to acquire an end-to-end eDiscovery software solution that follows all elements of the Electronic Document Reference Model (EDRM). Specifically, DLA needs to be able to use a modern eDiscovery software suite that permits improved review of Agency data in a legally defensible method. The solution must also permit an improved early case assessment. This program’s additional goal is incorporate Technology Assisted Review (TAR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the extent possible to assist the Agency in reviewing data to support litigation, investigations, FOIA, and Congressional Inquiries. DLA has a support contractor team that will manage the installation of the software, any software updates, and DLA user questions. This team will work with the vendor’s “train the trainer” team and help desk as required.
