A Sources Sought is a market research tool being used to determine availability and adequacy of potential business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition. The intent of this sources sought synopsis is to identify all small business, including qualified 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZONE), Woman Owned small business, and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned small businesses for a Firm-Fixed Price, Purchase Order Contract for a minimum of 3 un-armed security personnel with base access (security badge and Common access card (CAC)) and sufficient vehicles to ensure security transport services are met. The Purchase Order will require a contractor to cover DLA Disposition Services Tucson in Arizona. DLADS Tucson requires Vehicle Transport Security Guard Services for all traffic to/from their location through the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (DMAFB) due to security requirements established by the U.S. Air Force (USAF). This includes all traffic, such as commercial delivery/pick-up trucks and DS Tucson customers not having access to restricted areas/facilities within DMAFB. Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought Synopsis, the Government will determine whether a set-aside acquisition is in the Government's best interest. The Government intends to solicit and award to a responsible Firm-Fixed Priced Purchase Order Services Contract. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) Code is 561612 (Security Guards and Patrol Services). The size standard of this NAICS code is $29M. NAICS code compliance verification will occur if/when quotes are submitted. Quotes are not being submitted at this time. The duration of the contract is anticipated to be for base year plus four option years for a total of five years. A response to this Sources Sought Notice will not be considered an adequate response to any forthcoming solicitation announcement, nor will it result in your firm's name being added to a plan holder's list to receive a copy of a solicitation. Contractors are reminded that this is a Sources Sought Notice, NOT a solicitation for work, nor is it a request for quotes, rather it is to determine if there is potential for a contract to be set aside for small business or other small business set-aside programs. There is no solicitation available at this time. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Interested firms matching the categories referenced above must submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 3 pages in length, single-spaced, 12-point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services. This documentation shall address, as a minimum, the following: Company Profile to include number of employees, office location(s), Unique Entity ID (UEI) and/or Cage Code and statement identifying small business category and current status of the small business classification. Relevant Experience within the last five years, including any contract number, and Government/Agency or firm point of contact (POC) and current telephone number for the POC. Identify if you were a subcontractor and the work you actually performed as the sub-contractor. Company sales brochures or marketing packages will not be considered. The submittal package must be received at the office no later than 3:00 p.m. EST on Friday, April 14, 2023.
