Question 1: Are we shipping to Colorado Springs or Fort Carson? Answer 1: The Disposition Services Site is Named Colorado Springs, but it is on Fort Carson. The Ship to address in 14 c. in the PWS is a Fort Carson address. Bldg. 324 Wickersham Blvd, Fort Carson, CO 80902. Question 2: Since the scale is 11'wide, can we cut it down to 8' for transport or are you planning to reuse it at another location? Answer 2: This Equipment will be scrapped out of our Disposition Site at Fort Carson, So you can prep the equipment for best shipping. You can cut it into pieces as necessary. Question 3: Approximately what are the dimensions of the area surrounding the truck scale that need to be excavated? I can see the depth requirements in the statement of work, but not the perimeter measurements. Answer 3: There are ramps on both ends of the scale that will need to be removed, one is approximately 25 ft and the other is approximately 40 ft. The excavation requirements are primarily the width of the scale other than the pillars of the Rad Monitor and signs on both ends of the scale. Please see the new attachment for an overhead view and the photos in attachment (Example Truck Scale). ////End of Mod//// Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is for a single award without options. The required service is per the attached specifications, including its delivery timeframes. This procurement is a Small Business Set-aside Solicitation with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238910, Small Business threshold is $16.5 million. The following clauses will be included into the award: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Item; Far 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement statutes or Executive Orders Commercial items. Offeror must submit Representations and Certifications (FAR 52.212-3). The Government is not responsible for answering questions received after this deadline. EVALUATION: Quotations will be evaluated on a Lowest-Priced Technically-Acceptable basis (LTPA). Award will be made to firm that offers the lowest total cost to the Government for the entire requirement (inclusive of options) after a pass/fail evaluation of the contractors’ provided technical submittals meeting or exceeding salient characteristics per Attachment 01.
