Amendment 0002 The purpose of Amendment 0002 is to answer six questions received by interested vendors and upload appropriate Price Schedule, Korea MHE Price Schedule V2 and delete Korea MHE Price Schedule and Attachment 1 Bid Schedule - South Korea MHE. 1. Bid Schedule for Proposal: -Korea-MHE-Price-Schedule -Attachment+1+Bid+Schedule Task and equipment and QTY varies in each schedule Q: Does solicitation provide two different schedules for two different locations, Humphryes and Ginchon? A: Appendix 1 shows the total number of individual pieces of equipment at both sites. The Price Schedule shows total number of PMs, etc required to be performed. For example there are three 4K diesel forklifts on the equipment list. However on the Price Schedule it shows one line for PMs on 4K diesel forklifts and shows a quantity of 6 for the Base Year (bi-annual PMs). There are not two different schedules for the two different locations. 2. Actual number of equipment: Does the number of equipment in the price/bid schedule reflect the actual number of equipment in two locations? A: See Question 1 Answer. 3. Proposal for Transportation to and from PMs and CMs -PWS (Performance Work Statement), Para 3.h The contractor shall utilize CLIN 0029 to charge for transportation to and from PMs (Preventive Maintenance Site?) -PWS, Para 4.e The price estimate shall utilize CLIN 0029 to charge for transportation to and from CMs (Corrective Maintenance Site?) -CLIN 0029: Lug nut torquing on forklift electric, 4K The statement in PWS doesn’t seem to match the CLIN 0029 description. Can CLIN 0029 be found elsewhere other than the bid or price schedule? A: CLIN 0029 and associated CLINS in the Price Schedule, will accompany the Labor CLIN for Corrective Maintenance repairs. 4. The historical record of corrective maintenance (CM) that tells the scope of work. (This will help the proposal to be appropriate for CM) A: Historical is not available. 5. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is SP4510-22-Q-1013 and being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Background: The primary mission of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services is to dispose of Department of Defense (DoD) excess and surplus property generated by the military services. This is accomplished through reutilization to other DoD activities, transfer to other Federal agencies, donation to authorized state and local organizations, sale to the public, or ultimate disposal through abandonment or destruction. DLA Disposition Services Headquarters is located in Battle Creek, Michigan, with a variety of field sites worldwide. DLA Disposition Services is responsible for managing the DoD Surplus Property Program. In order to accomplish this mission, DLA Disposition Services is seeking to have Preventative and Remedial Repair services on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement at DLA Disposition Services South Korea. This requirement is a Firm Fixed Priced contract. Pricing must be Fixed Price for the entirety of services quoted. Site locations are listed in Appendix 3 – Place of Performance. (b) Maximum order. The Contractor is not obligated to honor- (1) Any order for a single item in excess of _N/A____________; (2) Any order for a combination of items in excess of __$2 Million____________ ; or (3) A series of orders from the same ordering office within _N/A____________ days that together call for quantities exceeding the limitation in paragraph (b)(1) or (2) of this section. (c) If this is a requirements contract (i.e., includes the Requirements clause at subsection 52.216-21 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)), the Government is not required to order a part of any one requirement from the Contractor if that requirement exceeds the maximum-order limitations in paragraph (b) of this section. Delivery or performance shall be at locations designated in orders issued in accordance with the Ordering clause and the Schedule. (c) Except for any limitations on quantities in the Order Limitations clause or in the Schedule, there is no limit on the number of orders that may be issued. The Government may issue orders requiring delivery to multiple destinations or performance at multiple locations. (d) Any order issued during the effective period of this contract and not completed within that time shall be completed by the Contractor within the time specified in the order. The contract shall govern the Contractor’s and Government’s rights and obligations with respect to that order to the same extent as if the order were completed during the contract’s effective period; provided, that the Contractor shall not be required to make any deliveries under this contract after 12 months after award. (End of clause) 52.216-22 Indefinite Quantity OCT 1995 Indefinite Quantity (Oct 1995) (a) This is an indefinite-quantity contract for the supplies or services specified, and effective for the period stated, in the Schedule. The quantities of supplies and services specified in the Schedule are estimates only and are not purchased by this contract. (b) Delivery or performance shall be made only as authorized by orders issued in accordance with the Ordering clause. The Contractor shall furnish to the Government, when and if ordered, the supplies or services specified in the Schedule up to and including the quantity designated in the Schedule as the "maximum." The Government shall order at least the quantity of supplies or services designated in the Schedule as the "minimum." (c) Except for any limitations on quantities in the Order Limitations clause or in the Schedule, there is no limit on the number of orders that may be issued.
