A solicitation document will not be issued and quotes will not be requested. The sole source contract is under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). DLA Disposition Service has a requirement to repair an SSI M100 shredder located in Anniston, AL. The shredder repair will be conducted by Bestech Environmental Resources as they are the only authorized sales and service agency approved by the equipment manufacture SSI. SSI M100 shredders are 100% custom made and therefore only authorized agents are permitted to perform annual maintenance and obtain parts. Bestech Environmental Resources is the only authorized service repair company in the Alabama region. There is an estimated 300 parts that require annual replacement to avoid catastrophic failure of the Custom Shredder Set SSI M100. Bestech has access to the M100 shredder design drawings / schematics. The contractor shall complete the replacement of required wear and tear parts.
