This sources sought notice is posted for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Defense Logistics Information Services. The objective is to explore commercial software applications that provide seamless access to various professional technical standards through a single on-line subscription service. To be clear, this is for a current off the shelf commercial application (read as there is no interest in software development) that provides similar information to manufacturers with the need for updated industry standard specifications. DLA’s requires current standards from numerous professional/ technical organizations. The application shall provide a network library service consisting of DOD Adopted Military/Government and Commercial documents to include the following products: -ANA, AN Drawings -USAF and NAF Standards -Military Specifications and Standards -Federal Specifications and Standards -Performance and Detail Specifications -Commercial Item Descriptions (CIDs) -Military and Federal Qualified Products Lists (QPLs) -Qualified Manufacturer Lists (QMLs) -Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) -Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) -International Organization Standards (ISO) -Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) – DOD Adopted -American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) – DOD Adopted -Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) – DOD Adopted -American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) – DOD Adopted -American National Standards Institute (ANSI) – DOD Adopted -American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) -American institute of Architects (AIA) -American Petroleum Institute (API) -American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) -American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) -National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) -National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) -Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) -Associated Technical Drawings This list is not inclusive of all DLA’s technical requirements, and is provided as a minimum standard benchmark. The information product shall provide for various types of searches by Title, Abstract or Document Text and Standard Organization and or Document number search. Partial Text and using “*” for wildcard will also produce results, an advance filter search by standard class and or Federal Supply Classification (FSC) is needed. The information product must have the ability to identify specific documents with document details, the latest Revision along with past Revision names and date of adoption. Product must be capable of being purchased electronically, printed and saved as a document.
