The changes included in this amendment will be included in the awarded document. First, I have a quantity correction on CLIN 0001, the quantity was 40 ea and is corrected to 20 ea. Second, Questions and Answers: I read that the pricing must include installation. Is it possible for us to bid this project without installation but just for the delivery of the materials? For this set of equipment, there is not an installation requirement. That is template language sorry for the confusion. Are you able to let me know how many of each CLIN are going to each location? Each location will require the following: CLIN 0001 - 4ea; CLIN 0002 – 2ea; and CLIN 0003 – 2ea. The solicitation is calling for a hook on one end of the chain, is there anything else on the other end? That is what the specification calls for as a minimum. Is the specification of the Spreader Bar correct at 40,000 lbs capacity and a max weight of 450 lbs? The specification of the spreader bar was developed off of an available commercial product. Does the “Shall require load testing certification” refer to a proof testing of the products. This refers to the manufactures certification of load capacity, not specific proof testing. *******End of Amendment 01******* This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is for a single award without options. The required equipment is per the attached specifications, including its delivery timeframes. This procurement is a HUBzone Small Business set aside in accordance with FAR 19 with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 333924, applicable threshold is 750 employees. Offeror must submit Representations and Certifications (FAR 52.212-3). In the event questions are received, a solicitation amendment will be posted to distribute the answers prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The Government is not responsible for answering questions received after this deadline. EVALUATION: Quotations will be evaluated on a Lowest-Priced technically-Acceptable basis. Award will be made to firm that offers the lowest total cost to the Government for the entire requirement (inclusive of options) after a pass/fail evaluation of the contractors’ provided technical submittals meeting or exceeding salient characteristics per Attachment 01.
