The primary mission of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Installation Support is to directly provide services to dispose of Department of Defense (DOD) excess and surplus personal property generated by the military services. This is accomplished through reutilization to other DOD activities, transfer to other Federal agencies, donation to authorized state and local organizations, sale to the general public, or ultimate disposal through abandonment or destruction. Purpose: The purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify ANY SMALL BUSINESSES WITH GENERAL CONTRACTING and / or FACILITY MANAGEMENT experience MAINTENANCE CAPABILITIES within the COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. area, preferably 8a, who have multi-craft employees in the plumbing, electrical, rigging, roofing, carpentry, HVAC, painting and general labor trades capable of servicing (annual inspections/ preventive routine maintenance) for a single level, 4,620 square ft. modular office (combined/ inclusive 5 trailer facility) located at FT CARSON, CO . A One-Year Base contract with 3 One-Year Options is being considered for this service work. The scope of which will include: PLUMBING Inspection and annual preventive maintenance (PM) for: Hot water heaters (electric) Water filter replacement Hot/ cold-water piping for potable city water (to include electric heat trace in crawl space). Restroom facilities/ fixtures for sinks, urinals, toilets, sewage discharge piping from to city sewage system. Repair of any noted leaks. HVAC Inspection and annual PM for: 5 Window mounted air conditioning units (Bard) 1 Central HVAC unit, or heat pump system (Mitsubishi Ductless Split 1.5 Ton Unit). ROOFING inspection for: Metal Roofing to identify potential leaks, rust or damaged seams. GENERAL LABOR for: Cleaning exterior surfaces on walls, skirting, windows and doors. Replacement of damaged ceiling tiles. Repair of loose carpeting or floor tile. Inspection/ tightening of handrails. ELECTRICAL inspection and annual PM for: 110-volt main breaker. Light fixtures to include fluorescent starters. Replacement of light bulbs Electrical outlet and switch covers. Fire/ Smoke Detectors (110v hardwired) CARPENTRY inspection and annual PM for: Door leveling for correction of sagging or sticking interior/ exterior doors. Window inspection/ correction of sticking Repair of separated molding/ trim. Door locksets that do not lock or latch when closed. Inspection/ replacement of weather stripping on exterior doors/ windows. Inspect/ repair loose decking/ steps. Replace worn non-skid on stair steps and exterior decking. RIGGING/ MILLWRIGHT inspection for: Trailer leveling/ true with identified sagging. PRIMER/ PAINTING for: Damaged, rusted exterior areas.
