Question 1: Can site visits be performed at Hill AFB? Answer: The solicitation does not include DLAD Procurement Note L07 Site Visit Instructions therefore site visits are not being conducted as a part of this solicitation due to there being numerous locations/pick-up points. Amendment 02 The purpose of this amendment is to publicize questions received in response to this solicitation. Answers can be found by opening the Word document attachment labeled "Questions and Answers" Amendment 03 The purpose of this amendment is to publicize a correction to the name of the Excel document attached to this solicitation. The correct date is now listed in the name of the Excel as well as the reference to it in the Q&A. No data within the Excel was changed or modified. Amendment 04 The purpose of this amendment is to publicize a two week extension of the closing date of this solicitation from February 24, 2022 at 1500 EST to March 10, 2022 at 1500 EST. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation SP450022R0008 has been prepared in accordance with the procedures in FAR 12.603. Work will consist of the removal, transportation, and disposal of government generated hazardous and non-hazardous wastes located on military installations in and around the Hill/Tooele, Utah area. The following additional information is provided in accordance with FAR 12.603(c)(2). (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation SP450022R0008 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-01 effective December 6, 2021. (iv) This acquisition is being issued as a full and open competition on an unrestricted basis; the associated NAICS code is 562211; the small business size standard is $41.5M. (v) See the attached Price Schedule. (vi) See the solicitation for a description of the requirement. (vii) The contract is anticipated to have a 30-month base period from May 2022 to November 2024 and a 30-month option period. See the solicitation for a list of pickup locations.
