The contractor will provide facility, equipment, supervision, and personnel to receive, account for, and ship government-owned perishable food items requiring cold/freeze handling, consolidating truckload and less-than-truckload receipts into palletized loads for export. The work supports embarkation points at Charleston AFB (South Carolina), Norfolk NAS (Virginia), and McGuire AFB (New Jersey), with base access required. The performance/competitive area is restricted to specified Virginia localities, including Richmond, Norfolk, Hampton, Chesapeake, and surrounding counties. The resulting contract will be a single-award, firm-fixed-price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with a five-year ordering period.
