The contractor shall perform repairs to eight trailers (see attached SOW). Repairs include but are not limited to cutting out king pin plate, preparing surfaces for installation of new king pin plate, removal of floor as needed for access to cut and weld. Flooring shall be replaced as previously installed (if in useable condition) or replaced with new wood if not in sound condition. Removal and replacement of any wiring, hoses, or lighting to make repairs, primer, and paint to protect repairs from the elements. Welding and installation must be completed according to manufacturer’s specifications. Repairs shall be coated with primer and paint to protect from the elements. All supplies and materials shall be included in repair cost and supplied by contractor.
