: DLA Distribution Susquehanna Mechanicsburg Detachment has a requirement for a contractor to remove an existing overhead compressed air system, design of a redundant loop compressed air system to pro... : DLA Distribution Susquehanna Mechanicsburg Detachment has a requirement for a contractor to remove an existing overhead compressed air system, design of a redundant loop compressed air system to provide 100-120 CFM of dry air to the box shop processes, install a new overhead compressed air system, and perform a factory authorized start-up to validate the warranty. The new equipment will consist of two (2) new air compressors, two (2) new air dryers, a 400 gallon air storage tank, a 3 stage oil water condensation separator, and an overhead air grid loop consisting of approximately 600 linear feet of 1.5 inch pipe with fifteen (15) 1 inch drops at designated locations in the box shop. The air compressors shall be brand name or equal to Quincy QGDV-25 Rotary Air Compressor. The minimum characteristics of the air compressor are. • 25 HP Varial Speed Motors • 1000-120 CFM at 125 PSIG • Networked with remote monitoring • Not to exceed 80dBA • Min of 5 year warranty The air dryers shall be brand name or equal to Quincy QPNC-125 Compressed Air Dryer. The minimum salient characteristics of the air dryers are. • Flow Capacity of 125 CFM @ 100 PSIG • Integrated Moisture separator • Dew Point Display • Start/Stop switch with Integrated Lockout Point Vendors quoting equal products to The Quincy items on the schedule must indicate the brand and model being quoted and provide technical specifications and product brochures. Failure to provide this information will make your proposal non-responsive and will not be considered. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Statement of Work. The site visit will be conducted on Thursday June 18, 2020 at 9:00 AM at the DLA site in Mechanicsburg PA. The address is 5450 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg PA 17055. Individuals must bring valid ID, Insurance and Registration on vehicle they are driving on base. Additionally persons attending the site visit must wear a face mask due to COVID 19. In order to attend the site visit, vendors must email Josh Nobile at Joshua.nobile@dla.mil or Mike Gerhards at Michel.gerhards@dla.mil. Requests to attend site visit must be received by 2:00pm Wednesday June 17, 2020 or vendors could be refused access to the installation
