J6 is responsible for supporting the Distribution Standard System (DSS), which is a globally fielded information technology capability, supporting inventory status and orders from the warfighter, amongst other functions. The DSS program office has been tasked to perform a technical refresh of some DSS capability, and more tightly integrate DSS with our ordering system Enterprise Business System (EBS). The Government awarded task order, SP3300-18-F-0378, to Advantaged Solutions Inc. for SAP cloud hosting and SAP support services to assist with platform configuration development on the Government's existing SAP software to replace some of the current DSS functionalities at two pilot locations; DLA Distribution Corpus Christie, TX ad DLA Disposition Services San Antonio, TX. This requirement was a brand name requirement particular to one manufacturer in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(b) and was competed among the SAP Public Services Inc. Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) BPA holders. The SAP Support Services, SAP Secure HANA cloud platform, and software maintenance periods of performance end on April 1, 2019. However, DLA Information Operations requires a one (1) month extension for the SAP Support Services and a five (5) month extension for the SAP Secure HANA cloud platform and the SAP software maintenance under the current task order in accordance with FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services.
