In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) anticipates awarding a modification to existing Warehousing and Distribution Services Contract SP3300-17-D-5001 on a sole source basis to Amentum Services Inc.; to manage and execute efficient and effective receiving, storage, inventory, packaging, Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS), stock control, stock selection, issue processing, packing, shipping, and distribution of repair parts and secondary items in support of on-base, local, and worldwide customers. The modification extends the period of performance for a three (3) month period (1 July 2022 -30 September 2022) pursuant to FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. Due to unanticipated post award administration requirements and necessary procedural delays, it has become necessary to modify existing contract SP3300-17-D-5001 to allow for uninterrupted Warehousing and Distribution Services through 30 September 2022. Pursuant to the exception under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only Amentum Services Inc. is capable of providing the services at this time; award to any other source will result in unacceptable delays and cause a disruption to DLA Distribution Hill AFB, Utah. The modification to current contract SP3300-17-D-5001 will serve as a temporary solution to fulfill immediate mission requirements. The J&A for this extension of services will be posted as part of this notice once executed. This is not a solicitation for proposals or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice of a non-competitive action.
