See attached 0001. This combined synopsis/solicitation (CSS) is being issued as a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 212390 with a size standard of 500 employees and PSC 6810 Chemicals SP3300-25-Q-0215 is being issued to establish a Firm Fixed-Price contract for a contractor to deliver rock salt with non-hardening agents on an as needed basis with 1 base and 4 year options. Rock salt shall comply with ASTM D632-99, Type 1 Grade 1. The Government intends to award one (1) contract as a result of this CSS which will be issued on a Standard Form (SF) 1449. The material requested by this solicitation is shown below in the Schedule of Supplies. The contractor shall deliver the rock salt within 3 to 5 days after notification from the government POC. The government will order a minimum of 20 tons per call. The Government is estimating a quantity of 1000 tons, but the contractor shall be paid for the actual number of tons delivered. The quantity is an estimate only. Salt shall be transported tarped and shall be dry and free of debris. Government has the right to refuse any loads that do not comply to this standard through the visual inspection process.
