DLA Distribution has a requirement for Storage Batteries for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) that includes, but is not limited to forklifts, stock selectors, sweepers, tow tractors, and turret trucks located at DLA Distribution sites including at DLA Distribution Susquehanna Pennsylvania, DLA Distribution Norfolk Virginia, DLA Distribution Oklahoma City Oklahoma and DLA Distribution Yokosuka Japan. DLA Distribution intends to award a Requirements contract for the batteries. Additionally, the vendor shall be capable of providing additional batteries, if necessary, as determined by the contracting officer. The requirement is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a five-year ordering period. The estimated ordering period for this requirement is shown below: Year 1: October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021 Year 2: October 1, 2021 through September 31, 2022 Year 3: October 1, 2022 through September 31, 2023 Year 4: October 1, 2023 through September 31, 2024 Year 5: October 1, 2024 through September 31, 2025 This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Subpart 15 Contracting by Negotiation in conjunction with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 335911 and the small business side standard is 500 employees.
