DLA Distribution requires a contract for performance of warehouse and distribution support services for DLA Distribution San Deigo, California. The full solicitation is attached. DLA Distribution San Diego, CA is responsible for performing distribution operations at three (3) sites. The Primary wholesale support location is at Naval Base San Diego (NBSD) and Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI) located 6.5 miles away. The Retail Support services are provided at Naval Base Coronado (NBC) located 6.5 miles away. Additional support services are provided on site at Naval Base Point Loma (NBPL) located 11.7 miles from the NBSD Site. The major commodities are depot level repairables (DLRs), electronics, industrial, medical, general, construction, clothing, packaged petroleum, chemicals, steel, sheet metal, bar stock, ship and aviation repair parts, and boats/amphibious craft.

Solicitation Number: SP3300-20-R-5001 Notice Type: Presolicitation Synopsis: DLA Distribution San Diego, California has identified a need for distribution and warehousing services which will be advertised under solicitation SP3300-20-R-5001. The scope of this requirement includes all management, personnel, and supervision, in addition to materiel, tools, equipment, transportation and any other items and services to meet the requirements. The contractor currently performing similar warehousing services at DLA Distribution San Diego is Olgoonik Technical Services, LLC under Contract SP3300-16-C-5001. This contract expires October 15, 2020. DLA Distribution San Diego, California's primary mission is to plan, program, manage and execute efficient and effective receiving, storage, inventory, packaging, Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS), stock control, stock selection, issue processing, packing, shipping, and distribution of repair parts and secondary items in support of on-base, local, and worldwide customers. The requirement is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a five-year ordering performance, which will include a three-month transition period. The estimated ordering periods for this requirement are shown below. Performance Period 1: November 1, 2020 - October 31, 2021* Performance Period 2: November 1, 2021 - October 31, 2022 Performance Period 3: November 1, 2022 - October 31, 2023 Performance Period 4: November 1, 2023 - October 31, 2024 Performance Period 5: November 1, 2024 - October 31, 2025 *Includes 90 day transition This acquisition will be solicited as an unrestricted procurement under FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. Contract award will be made on the basis of competition. It is anticipated that contract award will be made in September 2020.
