In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) anticipates issuing modifications to existing EDC Modernization Delivery Order SP3300-20-F-1300 on a sole source basis to Advantaged Solutions, Inc.; for the installation of upgraded fire detection and protection systems for the AutoStore storage area, floor remediation, and installation of packing stations to support the AutoStore system. Advantaged Solutions, Inc. is contracted to install an AutoStore storage solution. The fire suppression and workstations will be integrated with the storage system. Awarding to another vendor would add unwarranted complexity to the integration of systems. Additional vendors would require them to mobilize multiple times at an increased cost as the fire suppression system and floor remediation is installed and implemented in phases with the installation of the AutoStore system. Advantage Solutions, Inc. is also already on contract to level the HVAC and fire supression supporting system across the facility and this area is a component that will be taken into consideration as it is modified. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Advantage Solutions, Inc. is the only responsible source capable of providing these requirements at this time. The J&A for these modifications is being posted as part of this notice. This is not a solicitation for proposals or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice of a non-competitive action.
