In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) anticipates awarding a modification to existing Warehouse and Distribution Services Support at DLA Distribution Richmond, Virginia (DDRV), Contract SP3300-18-D-5004, on a sole source basis to AOC Logistics, Inc. (AOCL); to provide all management, personnel, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and any other items and/or services not provided by the Government. The modification extends the period of performance for a four (4) month period (1 July 2023 – 31 October 2023) pursuant to FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. Due to a change in the mission and requirements at DDRV, it has become necessary to modify the contract to allow for uninterrupted Warehouse and Distribution Services Support through 31 October 2023. Pursuant to the exception under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only AOCL is capable of providing the services at this time; award to any other source will result in unacceptable delays and cause a disruption to DDRV activities. The modification to the contract will serve as a solution to fulfill immediate mission requirements. The J&A for this extension of services will be posted as part of this notice once executed. This is not a solicitation for proposals or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice of a non-competitive action.
