Executive Order (EO) 14057, Catalyzing Clean Energy Industries and Jobs Through Federal Sustainability (Dec. 8, 2021), directs the United States Government to “lead by example in order to achieve a carbon pollution-free electricity sector by 2035 and net-zero emissions economy-wide by no later than 2050.” This Request for Information (RFI) seeks information and interest concerning how best to procure Carbon Pollution-Free Electricity (CFE) for Department of Defense and Federal Civilian customers in Independent System Operator New England (ISO-NE).
