Ellsworth AFB is conducting market research to build an emergency vendor list for towable generators that can be provided rapidly and with little to no notice for use at Ellsworth AFB. The government is interested in roughly 60 kW diesel towable units compatible with a 3/4-ton or 1-ton truck and offering about 12 hours of run-time, though these characteristics are loosely defined and similar capabilities are acceptable. Interested vendors are asked to submit company/SAM/CAGE/UEI/GSA information, product specifications, leasing and delivery capabilities, maintenance and 24/7 support details, and rough order-of-magnitude lease pricing on a per-day, per-week, and per-month basis. The government aims to establish this emergency vendor list in the next few days.
