Special Operations Command South J4 directorate, located at 29401 SW 125th Ave Homestead, FL 33039 intends to award a sole source purchase order to Advantor Systems. The NAICS will be 334290 and the PSC will be 6350 - MISCELLANEOUS ALARM, SIGNAL, AND SECURITY DETECTION SYSTEMS. The contract number will be H9228124P0004. Any responses are due no later than 20 September at 1600 EST. The contractor shall install intrusion detection systems (IDS) at two buildings located within the munitions storage area of Homestead Air Reserve Base (HARB). The systems shall be compatible with the existing IDS monitoring network operated by the 482nd Security Forces Squadron. The nature of the assets stored in the facilities require compliance with several regulations. As such, an IDS will be installed and actively monitored by the base security forces squadron. The existing network uses equipment based on proprietary technology by Advantor Systems and is not compatible with equipment from other manufacturers. A key requirement for this acquisition is that the IDS shall be compatible with, and seamlessly integrated into, the existing monitoring network without introducing an unreasonably complex configuration. Furthermore, Installations, additions, and repairs to Advantor systems requiring accessing the Advantor Panel, must be performed by Advantor trained and certified Installers to ensure compliance with Air Force testing requirements. A quote will be solicited, and award will be made, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The anticipated award date is 26 September 2024. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.
