Minimum dimension f... This is a Sources Sought for a cover for the front gate. The end objective of this procurement would be to have a structure to protect the Security Forces members from the weather. Minimum dimension for this structure would be 30’ wide, by approximately 60’ long, by 20’ at lowest point (above ground) on the structure over vehicle travel lanes. The structure will be installed at the main entry point to the installation. The structure will be installed adjacent to an existing guard house. Contractor will be responsible for the design, manufacture and installation of the structure. We are looking for innovative and cost effective solutions, so any material that is non-permeable to water will be considered. Some materials that may be used may include, but are not limited to are, metal roofing, PTFE, ETFE, and PVC type fabric. Any material used must be resistant to mold and UV rays. Wood is not allowed to be used for any part of the cover. All support structure will be a painted steel frame or approved alternate to steel.
