Special Notice – Sources Sought The 117th Air Refueling Wing is seeking vendors that can provide a headset push to talk solution for already procured radio units. The requirement is for headsets and connecting adaptors for the existing Harris XL-200 radios. Further requirements are the ability for two way communication capabilities, tactical communications, advanced voice operated transmit, boom microphone, impulse noise protection, level dependent function, Natural Interaction Behavior, noise cancelling microphone (IP68), Push to Talk function. Have the ability to be mounted by, headband and helmet mount. Product color will be all coyote brown or a mixture of coyote brown and black. The only known acceptable solution at this time is the 3M PELTOR Com Tac VI NIB Headset manufacturer part number MT20H682FB and Custom Part DTT Adaptor with 2 pin jack manufacturer part number 70071731809. All headset solutions must be able to connect and be functional with the Harris XL-200 radio. The proposed North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334220 –Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing with a Product Service Code (PSC) of 5820.
