Information below contains a request to seek industry capabilities related to Aircraft Engine Data Download technologies for use by the USAF. STATEMENT OF NEED: USAF supplies designated government and commercial organizations with engine data in support of their propulsion related functions. Users of engine data are authorized access for specific interface requirements on the platform designated for their intended applications. Growth in the reliance of network connectivity and increased transfer of engine data over these networks for support functions poses a risk to engine data security and process efficiencies. USAF seeks to remedy this situation by an alternative method of engine data downloading by prototyping method on select TMS platforms and/or related test beds.
