Request For Information - Offerors are requested to provide information on the current state and proposed state, of supply chain sustainability “greening” effort for Class II- Clothing and Textiles for all branches of military service to include ethical sourcing and supplier, sustainable materials management, industry certifications, reverse logistics, and how these practices could be applied to the Class II (clothing and textile) supply chain. To further clarify, the following question(s) should be addressed by the recipients: What challenges are faced in the establishment of circular, cradle to cradle supply chain approach to textiles that may be relevant to DLA? What lessons has industry learned in pursuing these types of sustainability practices?; How are sustainable materials defined, categorized, and certified?
