Individual Multispectral Camouflage (IMSC) Capability

Notice ID:SCIE_IndividualSignatureManagementCamouflageCapability_RFI

The U.S. Army is seeking information on modular, lightweight signature management solutions to conceal personnel and equipment from VIS, NIR, and LWIR sensors, with secondary focus on MWIR, Radar, and SWIR. Key form factors include overgarments, hide sites, headcovers, hasty solutions, and extremity concealment, optimized for arid/desert, woodland/jungle, or arctic/extreme cold environments. Solutions must be durable, field-reparable, compatible with standard combat loads, and not hinder soldier movement or create audible or physiological burdens. Performance should reduce detection probability from ground and aerial sensors, with integration across spectral bands preferred, and must conform to NIR & SWIR target specifications available under NDA. No budget or performance location is specified, but white papers and optional product demonstration models are due by 30 June 2026.
