The purpose of this notice is to make publicly available the justification and approval for the award of the subject sole source, firm fixed priced purchase order under authority of FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B). This purchase includes AERO Tile Antennas suitable for aircraft attachment and flight applications, and provide best effort (no Committed Information Rate (CIR)) operational packaged, PLEO broadband data transport services and Internet conncetivity. The satellite service will provide tactical communications to strategic forces. See redacted J&A attached.
