Notice of Intent to Sole-Source: The 56th Contracting Squadron (CONS) – Luke AFB, AZ intends to award on a sole-source basis, a contract to Diagnostica Stago, Inc. to lease a Hemostasis Coagulation System for the 56th Medical Group. The system is currently on site and integrated into the 56 MDG Laboratory Information System. Technicians are fully trained and competent with the current equipment allowing continued and uninterrupted laboratory services, keeping patient care and safety paramount. The current instrument has not reached its life-cycle capabilities, and acquiring a new instrument would be a waste of resources for stakeholders involved. Further, Diagnostica Stago STA/Satellite analyzer performs FDA Approved quality controls which are required to run only once daily to support mechanical clot detection. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. If your company wishes to submit a response to this notice, all RESPONSES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 6 AUG 2024 by 4:00 PM MST and ensure you include both POCs listed in this notice.
