The Maintenance Directorate is looking to replace a non functioning compressor for the Centralized Air Support System known as CASS, that is used to start engines on the T-38 aircrafts. The CASS is usually supported by four compressors but at the moment one is not functioning which is hindering the ability to consecutively start the maximum amount of T-38 aircrafts in support of the Undergrad Pilot Training (UPT) program. The current compressor set-up and layout has the ability to work in concert/communicate with each other allowing the required air and volume to start these T-38 aircraft engines. MX would like to replace the non functioning compressor with an identical one so production can to continue at its maximum. An Ingersoll Rand (compatible or equal) H200A rotary screw compressor, 460V Hi Dust Sierra compressor. Customer will review all submissions and determine which system will be technically accepted.
