The primary purpose of an Independent Program Assessment (IPA) is to provide independent, objective advice to the Government about the readiness of a Space Systems Command (SSC) program. The IPA accomplishes its task when a briefing on its findings and its recommendation are briefed to the Government. Specific IPAs are defined in each Order. For this acquisition, a single-award will be issued to a vendor under the General Service Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Special Item Numbers (SINs) 541330 ENG, Engineering Services, or 541715, Engineering Research and Development and Strategic Planning, via a small business set-aside. The primary objective of the IPA is to provide highly skilled acquisition subject matter expertise to analyze ongoing acquisitions of major space weapons systems.
