Issued By: USU, Bethesda, Maryland Proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS): 519130 – Internet Publishing and Broadcasting and Web Search Portals Proposed Product and Service Code (PSC): DA10 – IT and Telecom – Business Application / Application Development Software As A Service USU is issuing this RFI to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of participants to support the requirements delineated herein. Please refer to the “Scope” and “Information Requested” sections of this RFI for specific information that should be detailed in any capability statement submission. Background The mission of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) is to educate, train, and comprehensively prepare uniformed services health professionals, scientists, and leaders to support the Military and Public Health Systems, the National Security and National Defense Strategies of the United States, and the readiness of our Uniformed Services. USU requires services in support of military and civilian professors, instructors, administrative professionals and other employees as necessary to operate DoDs only medical university. Such support spans educational programs dedicated to conferring postdoctoral, postgraduate, undergraduate and technological medical degrees and certifications, to continuing medical education for military members in the health professions to the end that high standards of health care may be maintained within the military medical services. Scope The USU is seeking sources and any information on online journal subscriptions to support the University’s students, faculty and researchers. All subscriptions must be available in electronic format to be accessed by all approved USU patrons via the Internet. Remote access via a secure EZ Proxy server and compliance with ASA guidelines is required. The scope of this requirement may include, but not limited to, the journals in the attached document.
