The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the repair data, engineering expertise, and experience to meet qualification requirements to repair and sustain NSNs for USM-643. The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined. The Repair Method Code (RMC)/ Repair Method Suffix Code (RMSC) for items 1-17 are R3R. Three indicates repair, for the second or subsequent time, directly for the actual manufacture. “R” indicates the government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to repair these parts. The Repair Method Code (RMC)/ Repair Method Suffix Code (RMSC) for items 18-35 are R2R. Two indicates repair, for the first time. The Government does not own or have access to the data to support this system. Contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and engineering services. Contractor furnished material, equipment, or parts used for replacement shall equal or exceed the quality of the original material or parts.
