The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services Public Sales Division, Battle Creek, MI is requesting information as detailed below. Request for Information (RFI) Introduction The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) manages the end-to-end global defense supply chain – from raw materials to end user disposition – for the five military services, 11 combatant commands, other federal, state, and local agencies, partners, and allied nations. DLA is responsible for disposal of excess Department of Defense personal property, foreign excess personal property, scrap, hazardous material, and property requiring demilitarization. The purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research to identify Purchasers capable of performing excess and surplus property removals as part of a sales contract and to engage with industry for feedback on the proposed methods. The property includes both Rolling Stock and Non-Rolling Stock property within the Continental United States (CONUS), Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and Guam.
