This RFI serves as an addendum to Solicitation Number RFI LDPE Follow-On posted on 6 December 2019. Innovation & Prototyping Directorate (SMC/DCI) is no longer able to support an FY23 launch as indicated in the RFI posted on 6 December 2019 (LDPE Follow-On). As a result, an RFP for this effort is not expected to be released in FY20. The Government is now baselining an initial FY24 launch and launches every other year thereafter, with a contract award anticipated in early FY22. The Government is continuing to develop an acquisition and contracting approach. The Government will continue to engage with industry on this effort in preparation for future missions.
