Solicitation Number: THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME Notice Type: RFI / Sources Sought Requisition Number: RFISS – 85 ****REVISION**** The drawings associated with this RFI can be modified or adjusted to meet today’s industry standard with the approval of the US Government. Any revisions must meet the performance specifications required by the drawing. Exception to drawing 5816554: Notes 1, 2, and the ‘Approved Source of Supply’ block, are not applicable. If your company has the capability to manufacture the Hot Gas FES Bag Assy, but there is something within the notice causing you to not respond, please identify the concern/issue. ********************* Synopsis: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify industry capability and interest in manufacturing Hot Gas FES Bag Assembly, in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 5816554. Per Qualification Requirements identified in NAVSEA Drawing 5816554, two units shall be assembled into a buoyancy system, NAVSEA Drawing 6206894 and subjected to preproduction requirement of WS26369. The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price. The Government has identified the following NAICS as applicable: 334511 The drawings referenced in the attached documents are unclassified technical information which are restricted by the Arms Export Control Act and are available ONLY to the Company’s Data Custodian who is registered under the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Joint Certification program (JCP). Contractor Data Custodians who are not registered with DLA JCP can obtain registration information at https://www.dla.mil/HQ/LogisticsOperations/Services/JCP.aspx or via telephone at 877-352-2255. Company shall meet the following minimum qualification requirements to qualify to receive the drawings: Current National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-171 assessment (not more than 3 years old) with a minimum Confidence Level of “Basic”. This request for capability information does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP); submission of any information in response to this announcement is purely voluntary and the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
