This is a request for information (RFI) only - This RFI is being posted to identify potential sources to provide PRECONCENTRATOR TUBES as described in the attached requirements. Please be aware that should this RFI become a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP), a testable sample of the tubing may be required for submission. Solicitations are not available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Elaborate proposals or pricing information are neither required nor desired. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government. A determination on the contract type, mechanism for procuring this supply, and possible set-aside will not be made by the Government until after the market research has been completed. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ/RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Interested sources are encouraged to submit product literature in response to this RFI. Any submission of such product literature will be treated separate from, and will have no bearing on, any subsequent evaluation of quotes submitted in response to any resulting future formal RFQ/RFP. Responses to this RFI must be submitted no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time on February 20, 2019 via email to the contract specialist, Christina Kerns, at christina.p.kerns.civ@mail.mil. Telephonic responses will not be accepted.
