Services covered include acquisition planning assistance and acquisition document development to include statements of work. Support will gather, analyze, and compose technical information required for preparation of technical documents, reports and briefings. Personnel will conduct research and ensure the use of proper technical terminology. They will translate technical information and data into clear, readable documents to be used by other technical and non-technical personnel. They will develop, write, and edit technical material to be incorporated into military specifications, standards and handbooks, and other documents. They will interpret and prepare written information, based on technical and engineering data. They will assist subject-matter experts to meet required publication standards and reorganize, revise, rearrange, or rework the material ensuring all applicable requirements have been met. They will review and verify the information gathered by research or in consultation with subject-matter experts (SME) and examine the organization, length, and tone to make the necessary adjustments. They will reorganize, revise, rearrange, or rework the material ensuring all applicable requirements have been met and discusses major changes with the author or subject matter expert before making and finalizing the revisions.
