The work will consist of approximately 314 Technical Manuals to be converted from SGML-tagged, paper and HTML files to XML-tagged files following the S1000D Version 4.1 data module specifications. Three of these manuals are classified, with the highest classification being Secret. This amounts to approximately 73,118 pages in the current paper format. Additionally, approximately 32,000 illustrations will require conversion from current format (CALS, GIF, PDF, TIFF, JPEG, etc.) to a standard SVG format.
