NAVUSP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a sole source procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13 to American Rigging and Supply 2380 Main Street San Diego, CA 92113. The proposed contract action is to provide fabrication of safety nets for DDG access trunks- see below for list of all items. This requirement is for the USS PINCKNEY in support of the safety and wellbeing of the sailors located in San Diego, California. The detector Is a critical requirement in order to provide safety onboard the ship. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(d)(1)(i). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The NAICS code is 334516 and the applicable business size is 500 Employees. Interested parties may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number. Submissions are due by Wednesday, 28 February 2023, 12:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time, via email. The solicitation document can be obtained via email request. The Government will consider all capability statements, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no submissions are received by the due date and time, FLCSD will proceed with the sole source award.
