NAVUSP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award an urgent sole source procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13 to Curtiss-Wright Fleet Solutions 1675 Brandywine Avenue, Suite F Chula Vista, CA 91911. The proposed contract action is to provide HPAC Assessment and Groom service - see attached Statement of Work (SOW) for description of service. This requirement is for the USS RUSSELL in support of inspection and repair of the ships’s NR 1 high pressure air compressor located in San Diego, California. The repairing of the equipment is a critical requirement in order for the ship to be operational. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(d)(1)(i). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The NAICS code is 333912 and the applicable business size is 1,000 Employees. Interested parties may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number. Submissions are due by Wednesday, 05 July 2023, 3:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time, via email. The solicitation document can be obtained via email request. The Government will consider all capability statements, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
