The Government intends to pursue a name brand source for this requirement; however, the Government is requesting interested vendors to provide capabilities of comparable products and to provide comments in response to the intent of Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan making a Name Brand procurement of the following: Quantity 53 Scott/3M Air-Pak X3 PRO Product Code X8914025305303 self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). Any acceptable alternate SCBA must be compatible with Scott/3M model AV-3000 HT P/N 10012125 Scott/3M Face Mask, Face Respirators and Scott/3M model 4.5 4500 PSI Carbon Fiber P/N 10009673 Air Tanks. The SCBA must also be complaint with the NFPA 1981/1982, 2018 Edition. Please respond to the POC in this notice with alternative products that meet this requirement no later than 3 September 2020.
