Bus Transportation This request will be prefaced by saying this Sources Sought is strictly for Market Research purposes, and the U.S. Government does not intend on issuing a solicitation at this time for the requirement. Using the data collected from this Sources Sought, the U.S. Government hopes to obtain a better understanding of the market surround RAAF Darwin and RAAF Tindal within the country of Australia. Therefore, we are primarily focusing on vendors within the local area that can support our needs. However, we will accept capabilities statements from vendors outside the local area as well to gauge how much support is available locally, and how much would not be available locally. For this Sources Sought, the U.S. Government is interested in the following: Should the need arise that the U.S. Government is in need to request Bus Transportation services we would like to know available sources to provide this requirement. Possible transportation requests may be: transportation from RAAF Darwin to RAAF Tindal and vice versa, transportation from RAAF Darwin to and from local hotels, transportation to and from RAAF Darwin and Defence Accomodation Precinct Darwin (DAPD), transportation from RAAF Tindal to and from local hotels/motels in Katherine, Transportation within RAAF Darwin, transportation within RAAF Tindal If your company can provide for any of these requirements, please email a copy of your Capabilities Statement to me, along with the below additional information: Please identify each of the above requirements, along with a “Yes” or “No” for each regarding whether you are able to provide. Additionally, while no solicitation is currently planned for any of the requirements, it would be greatly appreciated for market research purposes if you are able to share any current pricing for any of the requirements. If any of the requirements have different types, a listing of each along with any associated prices are greatly appreciated. How large is your fleet of buses and how many PAX are you able to support at any given time? How many bags are your buses able to support if each bus is also full of PAX? Do you have options for separate luggage carriers if buses are full of PAX? Is your company SAM.gov registered, along with an active SAM registration? If so: What is your Unique Entity ID? What is your CAGE Code? If not: Does your company have the ability to become SAM.gov registered, and how long might that take for your company to get set up with an active registration? Does your company have any other suggestions for the NAICS utilized for this requirement that might solicit more competition within the market or was the chosen NAICS appropriate? Are there any limiting factors regarding this requirement, and the market, that you would like to make the U.S. Government aware of to facilitate a smoother acquisition process on this requirement should it ever arise? Aside from the capabilities statement, which may be however long your capabilities statement are, please limit any other responses to the above questions to no more than three (3) pages.
