DLA Richmond is conducting a sources-sought market survey under NAICS 336412 to identify interested, capable parties and help determine the procurement method, which may include a small-business set-aside, full and open competition, and/or multiple awards. This is not a solicitation or request for proposals; responses are voluntary and the government will not reimburse costs. Interested firms should provide organization details and tailored capability statements, including any anticipated subcontracting or teaming structure, and will be evaluated on capacity to provide domestic supplies under a firm-fixed-price contract at similar scope and scale. Potential sources must be able to furnish labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for new manufacture, including component procurement/manufacture, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, shipping, and possibly supply chain management, logistics planning, production forecasting, long-lead part procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources/material shortages, and shipping serviceable assets.
