RAM Replacement, Installation, and Disposal
The U.S. Air Force is conducting market research to identify capable sources for high-performance, medium-power Radar Absorbing Material (RAM) in four configurations, plus professional installation and certified, environmentally compliant disposal of decommissioned legacy RAM at the Benefield Anechoic Facility, Edwards Air Force Base, California. The resulting contract is planned as a 5-Year IDIQ. The RAM is intended to upgrade electromagnetic energy absorption for higher-power Systems Under Test without thermal or electromagnetic performance degradation, using open-cell foam with consistent pore sizes to dissipate RF-generated heat. Interested offerors must be able to fully support all areas; no partial support responses will be accepted. Information packages should be limited to no more than 3 pages.
